Soil Organic Parameters
This section documents the SoilOrganicModuleParameters JSON object used by MONICA.
The parameters control:
- soil organic matter (SOM) turnover
- soil microbial biomass (SMB) turnover
- added organic matter (AOM) decomposition
- nitrogen mineralisation and immobilisation
- urea hydrolysis and ammonia volatilisation
- nitrification, denitrification, and N2O production
- optional STICS-based nitrogen transformations

Optional STICS nitrogen parameters
The optional stics object configures alternative nitrification, denitrification, and N2O calculations.
The three processes are selected independently:
